(Carcharocles megalodon) or (Carcharodon megalodon)
The largest know carnivorous fish to have ever lived on the planet.
It is believed this prehistoric shark was between 40 and 50 feet
in length and weight over 48 tons. All that remains of this
monster are fossilized teeth ranging from 3 to 7" in length.
Jerry Daniel went searching for Megalodon teeth and brought back
his treasure find and shared it with us at the meeting.
Enclosed are a few pictures of the shark teeth Jerry put on display.
